Obi belts are worn around the waist, as oppose to the hips. This type of belt is made to accentuate the waist and bring out natural curves. Therefore, obi belts work best with clothing such as tunics, dresses, and long cardigans. They also look great with high waist pants or jeans, creating a casual yet sophisticated look.

Single: leather in one side of the belt and without lining in the other side
Obi belts go around the waist twice and then tie at the front or side in a bow or knot. An opening on the side allows the opposite end to thread through, sitting nice and flat on your waist. The edges are also stitched, not just folded and glued.

Note: suede leather
Suede is a natural Aniline leather that has been surface brushed or buffed on the grain side of the leather creating a nap and leaving a texture similar to velvet (softest of all leathers to the touch). Usually suede has a natural finish, but may have a light protective coat and a transparent leather dye for color. This process increases the leathers surface exposure making it extremely absorbent. Water drops will darken the leather but it returns to its original color after drying.
